This position requires a candidate with flair for sales and managing relationships in order to create growth and

new business for a company. The business development executive will create new leads for the company by

making cold calls and email communication and follow-up persistently to establish relationships with the clients.

Duties and responsibilities

The candidate would be responsible for:

  • Identifying new sales leads
  • Screen all leads for accreditation eligibility before contacting the business.
  • Making a minimum of 50 outgoing telephone calls per day, to prospective businesses.
  • Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and
  • potential new markets
  • Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing.
  • Identifying decision makers amongst the targeted leads in order to start sales process.
  • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings.
  • Effectively promote company's services by equipping himself/herself of the market trends and practices.
  • Reaching out to the Sr. management, CxO level and establishing relationship and scheduling phone meetings
  • with them.
  • Fix phone meetings for the manager and in-person meetings for onsite sales representatives.

Qualifications

  • Candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:
  • Graduate in any discipline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent telephone sales personality skills
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing
  • exemplary customer service
  • Highly energetic and self-starter
  • 3 months to 1 year experience in sales/BD. (Candidates with relevant experience will be preferred)
